Why we are rethinking document management

Order in the digital publication flow – without manual intervention

What you gain from it

Editorial teams and archive teams always keep track of all document versions. Approvals remain traceable, archives stay audit-proof, and searching for older versions takes seconds instead of hours. This saves time, reduces errors, and builds trust in your own documentation.

Milestones in Document Logistics

From the first versioning routine to audit-proof archiving – the evolution of our system in four stages.

2019

Starting with a lean filing system

Initial internal solution for the structured filing of contract documents and correspondence. The foundation was a simple folder logic with manual version labeling.

2021

Automated versioning

Introduction of the automatic version history. Since then, changes to publications and corporate documents have been fully traceable without requiring manual intervention from editorial teams.

2023

Workflow control for approvals

Implementation of role-based approval processes. Review steps and escalation rules now run centrally through the system – from the initial draft to final archiving.

2025

Cloud migration with data sovereignty

Transition to a cloud infrastructure with a location in Austria. Encryption and disaster recovery concepts meet the data protection and availability requirements of local publishers and companies.

Milestones in Document Management

From Idea to Platform

What began in 2018 as an internal tool for editorial filing has today become modular software for publishers and companies in Austria. Every development step followed a concrete requirement from real-world practice.

Technical Foundations

The platform relies on automated versioning, role-based workflows, and encrypted cloud storage. All modules are designed to keep document states traceable and audit-proof.

Outlook

The next releases focus on expanded interfaces to editorial systems and deeper integration of AI-supported tagging for large archive collections.
